![]() The thing is, not too long ago, I read through Euphoria, the eroge VN. Secondly, seeing how prominent Nagisa is this early on leaves me slightly worried. Would that be OK? Or would this order ruin something for me? ![]() As for the Side Stories, I would go through all the prequels right after completing my first route and then play various side stories or sequels right after finishing the route they expand on. Based on what I read, I considered doing Tomoyo After right after her route. For this reason, I would like to somehow combine Tomoyo After and most of Side Stories with the middle portion of the main game, and I wanted to know what order you would recommend. I want the true ending (including everything that directly leads up to it, its respective side stories and sequels) to be the very last thing I experience from the game. While it is common to recommend playing games at the order of release, considering the latter two are complementary to the former, I would rather avoid that. ![]() We will see.Īnyway, I have a couple of questions I would like to ask you, and I'd love to hear your opinions and advice.įirstly, I wanted to ask about the recommended order of these three games, i.e. At this point, my best guess is that Nagisa and possibly many other characters will meet their bitter end, be it via an accident, illness or something supernatural, and the Afterstory will revolve around the MC and his daughter trying to deal with the tragedy. You can already tell this early on that once the story gets to the tragic second half (which I assume is what Afterstory will be all about), it is going to be an amazing emotional roller coaster that will hit all the right spots. The writing during those scenes was just phenomenal, with beautiful music that complemented the scene incredibly well. What I really fell in love with, however, was Nagisa and all the wholesome yet slightly sad conversations with her throughout the first day. Sunohara and his interactions are just hilarious, and Tomoyo, along with the girl from the dormitory, seems interesting as well. I only completed the prologue and the first day, but all the characters seem very likable so far. Yesterday, I finally got to start playing the game, and I have to say, never has a visual novel got me hooked as quickly as Clannad did. Naturally, this made me immediately put Clannad on my watchlist, and during this winter sale, I bought the bundle on Steam. ![]() To my surprise, not only was the show among the most beloved anime of all time, but it also had a visual novel that the VN community adores. Apparently, the show deals with a somewhat similar situation, focuses on similar aspects with strong emotions you unfortunately know from real life quite well, and is supposedly an even more intense experience. However, as I was searching through various discussions to see how the show made other people feel and how well it was regarded, there was one series I kept seeing getting mentioned Clannad. When I watched Anohana for the first time almost two years ago now, It quickly became my favourite anime to date. ![]()
